Precise spraying on large areas and multi-lane roads – for large carrier vehicles

The Straliq is specially designed for spraying brine on roadways. Built for large carrier vehicles, the Straliq employs the three-lane spraying technique for even faster and more efficient de-icing operations. The spraying width is individually adjusted to each lane and can be set to an accuracy of one metre.



Boasting a capacity of 7,500 to 15,000 litres, the Straliq can de-ice very large surfaces in a single pass. Its high-quality polyethylene tanks are suitable for all de-icing materials. This design enables significant savings in the consumption of de-icing materials, especially at temperatures as low as -6 °C.

The Straliq is easy to operate directly from the driver’s cab via the ES control panel. At the heart of the dosing system is either a membrane pump (295 l/min) or a centrifugal pump (max. 700 l/min). The salt solution is released at the rear of the vehicle through variable flow nozzles that also maintain constant pressure to reduce fogging.


Reliable drive

The Straliq can be powered by a variety of systems. The easiest way is to connect it to the vehicle’s hydraulics. If no hydraulic system is available, our Rotopower offers an innovative and efficient alternative, where the rotation of the rear axle is transmitted directly at the hub without any loss of power. Of course, the Straliq can also be equipped with a diesel engine.


Straliq combatting dust pollution

Fine dust pollution is currently a major issue. For this reason, tests were carried out to reduce the polluting effects of fine dust. The solution: spraying calcium chloride. Its binding effect ensures that fine dust remains stuck to the road surface. In this way, the Straliq also offers an ideal solution for controlling fine dust.
